lunch in howard beach

I'm looking for a good place for lunch in Howard Beach that is also kid friendly. We've been to the CrossBay Diner and was wondering if anybody had any other suggestions? Thanks.

  1. New Park Pizza is pretty good.

2nd New Park. What's your opinion on Vincent's and Lenny's in general? I haven't been to either of them in eons. But I do remember a ton of families dining there.

    2. La Villa has very good pizza (wood oven), and is much more comfortable than New Park, in my opinion. For a full (Italian) menu, Vincent's should work for you, I'd think.

      1. Thanks for the recommendations

There's also an Italian grocery on Cross bay that's really good for a to go lunch. I can't remember the name, but it's on the west side of Cross Bay right next to an ice cream stand. The deli has sandwiches, but the prepared food is where it's at.

        2. I like Vetro which might be more upscale than you are looking for. Excellent food and they have lunch specials which are pretty affordable. I am not sure if they are child-friendly but you might want to give them a call.

          1. New Park has great pizza but pizza only. LaVilla is always a good choice pizza and a full menu. Aldo Restaraunt,Lennys, Sugarbun Bakery has a small lunch menu, In My opinion La Villa is the best choice with kids and for variety.
