Any Great Hunan Places in Bay Area Like The One in The New York Times Review?
Yesterday's NYT food section had a glowing review of a Hunan restaurant in Queens. The dishes sounded great and it made me wonder if there are comparable places out here that people would recommend.

I've had many of these dishes at China Village.
The original posting has a link to Great Hunan, but I don't think much of that place.
Here's a list of some CV dishes that resemble the ones in the NY Times article:

Also, I suspect that if you asked Mr Yao (owner of CV), he could probably make some of the other dishes. Or point out the menu items that resemble those dishes.

Huh, I never realized they had Hunan dishes. Do they have smoked things?
