After the hoopla.....

The two of us will be coming for our annual visit to NOLA the weekend after Mardi Gras...Sat to Wed. Will there be concerns with restaurants being closed? Should we expect the crowds to stick around for the weekend?

Not sure what the recovery prognosis is from all the revelry, any advice appreciated.

I think there was a thread like this a few weeks back. The short of it is that the restaurant scene will be normal although reservetions may be a bit easier to get and the walk-ins more available. Unless there is a big convention in town, then it will be just normal.

Everyplace will be open. It won't be the same as Mardi Gras crowds, but the big St. Patrick's Day parades are that weekend and will create crowds and traffic issues in some parts of town. Make reservations.
