Dinner in Hoboken

I will be coming into Hoboken for a one night stay to attend a meeting the next day. I will be staying at the W. Can anyone recommend a good place close to the hotel for dinner?

Grab lunch or a late-night snack at The Taco Truck -which in this case is a storefront, and just a couple of blocks up from the W.

The Mrs and I had a very nice meal at Amandas last week. We would definitely go back again

Amanda's, La Isla, Cucharamama. Not a fan of 340 or the Quays. I hear mixed things on the new Clam Broth House. Elysian Cafe isgood as well, owned by the same folks that own Amanda's.

I second Amanda's if you want a stellar meal and a great selection of wine. It's a bit of a walk (maybe 20 minutes) from the W, but there's always a cab or the W may have free car service.

Right down the street from The W is Quays and 3 Forty Grill. Both have very good food and a nice view of the city if you get a seat near the front of them.

There are a ton of restaurants in town that you could chose from. The new clam broth house is right by, There are a lot of good restaurants on washington the main drag in town. The cuban restaurant called " La isla" is excellent. It is Zagat rated and is basically a "coffee shop" style setup with the lunch counter.

The hotel itself has a nice "Italian" restaurant. Zylo. I use quotation marks because it's Italian in thinking but not always in execution. The food and service is good. The views are spectacular.

If you can expand on type of food and budget, I can recommend a few other places. And keep in mind, all you have to do is take a very short walk up to Washington Street and there will be restaurant after restaurant for you to choose from. Hoboken is basically a mile square town. There are also a few restaurants near the hotel, but I've not been to any of those.
