North Myrtle Beach Recs?
Coming to Myrtle Beach in mid-March for a golf trip with 7 other hungry guys. We will be staying in North Myrtle Beach and are looking for a good food night out. Not big fans of tourist spots - good local BBQ or seafood would be perfect (most of us are big shellfish fans, so oysters and the lot would fit nicely). Does anyone have any suggestions? We are looking to take cabs if possible, so proximity is key.
Thanks in advance.
Hamburger Heaven has good burgers. Hoskin's has good country food for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

North Myrtle Beach is actually about a ten mile stretch on Highway 17, so if your group will be using cabs or shuttles plan accordingly. If you are on the south end near Barefoot Landing, I recommend Dino's House of Pancakes for breakfast/very golfer friendly, and dining at Molly Darcy's near Ocean Drive and 18th Avenue for a lively Irish pub on the beach. Best local and casual seafood is Bimini's near Arcadia Golf Course. Great fare & good prices, lots of locals.
If you are on the northern end of 17, I recommend making the 5 mile or so trip into Calabash NC which has plenty of authentic older seafood houses. My fave is Docksides, but there are plenty. Go early on weekends, very popular, good prices.

Chianti South, although Italian and not a local seafood place, has good food and a nice wine list. Their Osso Bucco is worth a visit in itself.
