Breakfast in lower Manhattan?

I recently watched an episode "My favorite things" on Food Network in which they highlighted a breakfast place in lower Manhattan. For the life of me all I can remember is that there are blue checkered tableclothes and that the food looked delicious! I'd like to go there for breakfast this weekend if anyone might know what restaurant it is....?

    For your next trip...It could be Clinton Street Baking Company, which is consistent and delicious--but only go early and on a weekday to avoid the wait.

      Sorry if this is more than a year late for your original trip, but when you go back:

      Sounds like Kitchenette to me. Even if it isn't, Kitchenette is one of our favorite breakfast places, especially on the weekends. (Although you have to get there right when they open to get a table, even at their new location.
