  1. Cypress has outstanding steaks and seafood. The river view is nice.

    Cypress Inn @ 501 Rice Mine Rd. N. Tuscaloosa, AL. 205 - 345 - 6963.

    1. Very nice view, pleasant ambience, something on the menu for everyone. The food is just so so. Pretty good, but not excellent

thanks- do you have any recommendations for Tuscaloosa?

I like Chuck's Fish, and I had a great meal at Kozy's a few years ago. A fun place for a steak is Nick's (in the Sticks). Of course, Archibald's has world-class ribs. There are a number of good meat and 3 places - Maggie's is the best, I think, although Bill's has outstanidng cornbread. There are a couple of good Thai places just west of the Strip, Surin and Ruan Thai
