Has anyone tried some of the new range of Greek products under the brand Olympus. It is the only authentic Greek kosher product i have seen in the states and they are kosher certified..

Just saw this on the OU website.....

Olympus Varoius Varieties of Hard Cheese

    Products:Various Varieties of Hard Cheese
    Company:Tyras S.A. – GREECE
Issue:This product bears an unauthorized OU symbol. Consumers spotting this product are requested to contact the Orthodox Union at 212.613.8241 or via email at kashalerts@ou.org.

There are very few hard cheeses that are kosher from non-jewish companies and these are usually a small run, such as cabot's cheddar.

The cheeses are kosher certified and this was mislabelling. This happens very often in the industry. How often you see they put a stark and it is OU. I can personally vouch that the Feta cheese and yoghurts are of top class.

You should know that there are many Batei Dinin that do not consider Feta cheese to be hard cheese. I have enjoyed many fetas in South Africa, as over 70% of the feta cheese from there is kosher certified.
