Dive Restaurant in Quarter 20 People

Bunch of people (20) coming to town for our wedding - want something casual and divey the night before. Wedding dinner at Commanders. What's the opposite?

Looking at Coop's or Port of Call - what do you think? Other suggestions please.

buffas on esplanade has a large room/space outside the main bar area. i have to admit their burger is pretty darn tasty. i only stumbled upon eating there after POC said they could not do TOGO orders....Buffa's burger is a huge, cheesy, greasy, hot, delicious mess!!!!

Adolfo's on Frenchman.

I like Adolfo's, but I would think it would be difficult to get reservations for a group of 20 since the place only holds something like 36 people. Can the Apple Barrel downstairs where you have to wait to get in Adolfo's hold 20 people? It is a cool dive bar with good live music but is very cramped. I also like Coop's but it is small also and may be hard to get 20 people in. Good luck in finding a place.

They have an upstairs room....just be forewarned, if anyone in your group is easily offended, this is NOT the place for you!
