Fans of Beard Papa's - just discovered in San Mateo

Not sure how long it's been open but I just found out it's 10 minutes from my house. Who knew?

    1. beard papa is good, but on your next trip up to SF, go to pacific puffs - far better.

      1. If you want real, fresh cream puffs instead of a weird pie crust-puff paste alloy imported frozen from Japan, go to Dianda. The San Mateo branch is at 117 De Anza Blvd.

          Beard Papa tastes better in Hong Kong and Taipei, for some reason the SF Bay Area branches just weren't the same. Although BP is no longer popular in HK and TW....where the one in HK opened back in 2000.

          For a better take on the Japanese style cream puff in the Peninsula or South Bay, try Satura Cakes (Palo Alto, Los Altos, Campbell).
