Whole wheat croissant?

Such a beast exists in Brooklyn. Any sightings in LA? Thanks in advance ...

I believe Picket Lane Bakery does them. They're sold at the Saturday Irvine and Sunday Newport Beach farmers' markets.

if you're desperate, i've seen them at whole foods in the bakery case. i had one once while on the run to work and they're actually not bad if you get them fresh (i.e. in the morning when they're baked).

Little Next Door will make them to order, they don't routinely bake them anymore.

Believe it or not, the new location of Europane uses all wholewheat flour in all of their pastries.
