Foodie Couple in NYC for a week

We will be visiting NYC for a week and want to take our time walking and eating our way through the neighborhoods
Anyone care to share links to or hard copies of their favorite neighborhood/foodie walking tours
Something beyond the regular guidebook stuff would be fabulous!
Actually a recommendation for your favorite NYC Foodie Guidebook would be alright to.
I have one called New York Neighborhoods 3rd edition by Eleanor Berman that is good but the copyright is 2004. In the ever-changing NYC food scene it might as well be 1904.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

You might also get a huge kick out of exploring Flushing, Queens, if you'd enjoy great Sichuan food as well as food from many other regions of China -Just post your query on the Outer Boroughs board.

We are actually staying in Brooklyn, would love to explore the Outer Boroughs as well.
Thanks for the tip...I have been following that board too.
