Is there a good dim sum restaurant in London?

Is there a good dim sum restaurant in London? Preferably with carts? I have searched the boards and couldn’t find any recent posts about London’s dim sum places. Since I moved from Toronto 5 years ago only dim sum I had are one I cook myself. Help!!

  1. Have been wondering the same thing! At this point it doesn't need to be "good", mediocre dim sum will fulfill my craving. Carts aren't important for me, so ANY suggestion would be appreciated.

Dragon Court Chinese Restaurant. Average food, but will do when you're craving dim sum bad. Sorry, I don't remember them having carts, but it's been 10 years so things could have changed.

Wow, 10 years! I’m sure it’s not the same. The Chinese joint we used to go to in Mississauga had 2 chefs that took turns and we had to call ahead to see who was in. One was good and the other didn’t give a rat ass about food. It is very likely that Dragon Court might have a different chef. Those guys make all the difference in the world. Also, it is a long way from Gore and Hamilton, especially in winter. The streets must be packed with high snow banks. I'll be comming from Tillsonburg.

    2. IMO Green Tea Asian Cuisine (on Wonderland, just north of Southdale) is currently the best dim sum and Cantonese-style Chinese food in London. I would recommend giving them a try (dim sum on weekends only).

I don't think any dim sum restaurants in London have carts, but on the up side, you get your food delivered hot and fresh to your table.

Thanks ibbileyta for the tip. I’ll give Green Tea a try. I hope that they have chicken feet, tripe and ribs. I was shopping in Zehrs and picked up nice tripe but they are honeycomb, not book tripe. I still used them  Check it out:
I think that when we go shopping at Asia Chinese Supermarket at Gore and Hamilton I will ask the young girl at cash register. I’m getting new carbon steel hand hammered 14” round bottom wok!!! I can’t wait.

      2. My preference is Tak Sun on Wellington. Their cheung fun is amazing and comes to the table piping hot!!
