Fish camp or Southern/Soul food near statesboro, waynesboro, swainsboro for lunch Thursday?

My wife and I are traveling the back roads from Jax to Asheville this week and I'm just checking to see if there's a fish camp or southern/soul food restaurant that's a "must stop". Absent any other suggestions, we'll stop at Coleman's Lake Fish Camp, where I've been once before. Anything that good or better that we oughta check out?

Coleman's Lake is not an option for lunch, as it is only open in the evening.

Taylor's Barbecue in Waynesboro has been recommended to me, although I have not tried it yet. It features a buffet with good Southern home cooking.

Boyd's in Statesboro has a good BBQ/southern buffet. They usually have whole fried catfish and the smoked chicken is very good. Standalone building with BBQ heritage.
The Beaver House is a historic house in downtown Statesboro. They serve family-style at your own table. Good southern cooking in a nice setting.

Thanks to everyone who has replied. Turns out that we're going to need to go a different route after all on this trip but we'll be making other trips between Jax and Cleveland, so this info will definitely come in handy in the future.
