Vegetarian Chinese

Have a friend thats kosher but will eat at all vegetarian restaurants. Looking for really good vegetarian chinese restaurant in upper west or east side.

      IMHO, doesn't exist, but others may disagree: sorry for being so blunt.
      90% of Chinese food is about all STUFF you can eat (different from All You Can Eat!); that means, anything with four legs which is not a table, according to Prince Philip. ;-)
      Some people are happy with the Buddha Bodai chain, but I hope you understand you asked for the 2nd tier.

    2. Soy & Sake is not in the area you mention, but I think it is a cut above Buddha Bodai. More pan-asian than Chinese.
