Dress code question

Disneyfreak Feb 6, 2011 07:40 AM

I'm having dinners at Upperline, Mr. B., Cochon, and Bayona and then Sunday brunch at Commander's Palace. What is the dress code at these spots for a female? Can I get away with dark jeans?

Thanks!

    You'll wish you hadn't at Commander's.

Agree with Jazzy B, you will not feel comfortable at Commander's in jeans...especially on a Sunday when most patrons are dressed up. Throw a nice pair of pants in the suitcase.

Please...no jeans at Commander's. The restuarant deserves much more respect.

Mr. B's - nice jeans for sure at lunch. At Christmas I saw a group of men come in dressed in FRC's. They seated them at the back though which to me is no big deal. Just gimme my bbq shrimp!! Anyway, I've worn jeans there with a nice top, casual jacket, dress shoes. But we go in winter normally so I wear the jacket because of the weather.

I was shocked to see a woman in khaki capris in Commander's the last time I was there. It's been a few years though. She was the exception though, everyone else was dressed nice.

Cochon is very casual. I would feel comfortable in jeans and tennis shoes in there. Most were dressed like casual Friday at the office. It was lunch though.

What about at dinner? The four meals I mention (except for brunch) are all dinner?
