Clean takeout sushi joints in Queens?

janie Feb 5, 2011 06:22 PM

Where are the best of these in Queens? My go to place in Kew Gardens and Forest Hills have been cited by the DOH too many times...

Just need the basics--but want it fresh...thanks for the help...

Sushi Time on Austin Street in FoHi. Nothing even comes close to quality and value in the area and the food is super fresh. The owners are awesome.

      Sushi Yasu on Yellowstone.

Maybe Katsuno on Metropolitan? I would think they do take-out.

Sushi Time is very basic but I've always had good sushi there.

I miss Mickey's so much....We still haven't gotten around to going to them in Bayside.

Yup, just had the sashimi dinner and a spicy tuna roll last night. Still delicious. Last time I had the sea urchin hand roll, yummy. Only place I eat sushi in Queens.

Thanks...but, Sushi Village has been closed by the DOH at least once--has numerous bad reviews including a friend of mine who claims it fairly vile.....
