Where should I go for some delicious fried chicken in Sacramento and surrounding areas? Of course KFC and popeye's and golden chicken don't count for this list.

There is good Fried Chicken at Pizza Chicken Love Letter. It is a Korean restaurant with just Pizza and Chicken. The fried chicken has a sweet-hot asian sauce. Delish. It is down by the drive-in movie theater. Stay away from the Pizza. Blecccchhhh!

OK OK OK, I thought maybe you would get some responses from other people. Here are some ideas:
Cricket's Country Kitchen on Auburn Blvd near American River College does a good job with the "homey, homely" style of food. They are a diner that is only open for breakfast and lunch. They probably have fried chicken. People rave about their chicken fried steak and their biscuits and gravy..
Evan's Kitchen is a more upscale restaurant in the antique mall by California State Sacramento. They do really well with whatever they cook. Fried Chicken is on their menu.

Went to Evan's kitchen, thanks for the recommendation, seems like good restaurant, the service was great. I didn't really like the fried chicken (it's probably me - didn't like the spices), but everthing else was excellent including service. Definitely worth going back.

Bel Air Market fried chicken at the Chinese food counter. Specifically the one on Florin Road.
