Any recommendation for a nice dinner near Columbia Univ? thanks

    We ended up at Max Caffe, very cute, small plates, funky atmosphere, good food and wine, lovely servers.

        Bettolona and 5 & Diamond are good bets.
        Pisticci is acceptable, Community Food & Juice is bad, Le Monde is pretty near bad.

          I had an awesome meal at 5 & diamond, but both chefs who were there at the time have since left. I'd love to hear more about more recent experiences there.

          Couldn't agree more re community. So baffled by the lines there.
