Amazing flavor for the price [Dinoto's, Grosse Pointe Woods MI]

Let me start by saying that I love Pizza!

I make it at home from raising my own dough for 2 days and love to cook real thin with the freshest stuff I can find....

That being said, When I don't have time to do the dough for a pizza night (always friday's because of the no meat thing) I started looking around the Grosse Pointe area for good pizza and I have found only 2 that are worth the money.

The best is Di'Notos though. Picking up a pizza there is a joy and I have stopped in just for deserts also. I admit they haven't had many chances to screw up because I don't like to make my wife sad by not having my pizza for her, but every time I have stopped in and gotten a pie it has been amazing! The owner Pino and his wife have been there to greet me at the door. It is carry out but honestly I have eaten on the counter and chatted with them, so don't feel like you can't just drive across town for an amazing pizza.

It is thin crust with just the right sauce.... and I tell you it is out of this world!

Okay. Those photos were convincing enough. It's a drive for me, but I'll check it out. The tricky thing is that I'd like to have some wine or beer with my pizza, but my pizza will be cold by the time I get it home. Unless.....I discretely eat and drink in my car....Hmmmm.
