Tribecca Taco Truck Broadway Prince & Spring
It's been around for quite awhile but today was the 1st time I bought lunch from the Tribecca Taco Truck. I ordered 2 tacos; carne asada with mango hot sauce, and the al pastor with the bbq pinapple. Both are topped with fresh cilantro, onion, and came with a lime wedge, and a few pieces of radish. The meat was pretty tasty, the corn tortilla was soft and fresh, the sauces could have used a bit more kick, but overall for 2.50 you can't go wrong. My friend had the quesidila for 5.00 and could only eat 1/2, and she's a pretty big eater. If you've been there, any suggestions/must try's for the next visit?

It's odd that it's got "Tribeca" (=Triangle Below Canal) in its name but is in Soho.
Have you tried any other taco trucks in Manhattan? I'd be curious to know how it compares.

I've only this taco truck so I can't really compare and Calexico. The name is written on the side, where the door is. I have no clue as to why it's called Tribecca, but parks in Soho, I might ask on my next visit. It's right near my office. There's a Calexico cart nearby which I've had as well. I think the Tribecca truck is more street foodish and less costly. I wou;dn't go out of my way for either, but if you are in the area this truck is a good deal. (note: I don't think he is there everyday)
