Boy, if you're thinking Asian, I'd be hitting up Joe's, and (I'm now blocking on the dumpling place in Rockville - can anyone help me there?).
At Joe's, get crispy salty chicken or squid (#'s A27, A28). This is like crack. They have a beef jerky dish that's great as well. If it were me personally I'd get some kim-chi or spicy sweet and sour cabbage. I think the cucumber salad is good, too. They have a case in front with the beef jerky and cucumber salad along with other things, so you can peruse those offerings with your eyes. And their wontons and dumplings are good. I think I usually end up with W05, but W01 I've had as well. Oh, and I see the beef jerky is A52.
And is the other dumpling place Mama's? I think so. They take dumplings to a whole new level.

Yes, the dumpling place is China Bistro, aka Mama's Dumplings.
Their steamed dumplings are immensely satisfying as takeout; the fried ones just don't transport as well. Also, their small plates in the front case are great for bringing to parties. This is our default potluck bring when we won't have time to cook ourselves. Their eggrolls are pretty decent as well.

We like Hunan to Go, 13 Dawson Avenue, right off North Washington Street in Rockville, for nongreasy eggrolls. Their other food is absurdly cheap and not half bad, either: http://hunantogo.ucraa.org/Menu.pdf

I would just get frozen. They are pretty good. Here is a list of places to get bao buns for reheating at home:
