For all my fellow mustard freaks (i'm looking at you, ipse)

apparently this place has been around since 1986, but i just learned about it. i could do some serious damage in that store...

darn I thought no one knew! I had a mustard addiction, I am reasonable now. Well Can we define reasonable, oh wait I digress, ahem.

I do love the taste of mustard. Cooking with mustard seeds, is something I will forever thank a certain someone for showing me.

I am a person who's natural taste dislikes sweet ( but a really hot honey..I digress) adored from a OMG first taste.
At one point in my life I counted 21 different mustards in my frig. I wonder if is starts to cross the Umami line, but I again do love sour.

I could do serious damage as well.

I love the Mustard King. I order my favorites from their catalogue.

Go visit if you are in the area!

I went several times when they were in Mt. Horeb, but haven't been to the new Madison area location.

The varieties to purchase were organized by country and they were happy to provide tastes (on pretzels, byo-gf GHG if you go!). The selection was amazing. Lots of fun, even for my non-mustard loving friend!

aww, thanks for the thoughtful GF pretzel comment! my sister went to UW Madison and i visited her once...that was enough for me ;) it's a beautiful place, but that weather is just WRONG. and though i'm sure there are better options now, at the time Olive Garden was one of the best restaurants in town - that was my one & only OG experience. ugh.

Summer is good and lots of great cheese! Nice farmers market on the weekends in Madison.
I love the town, but couldn't do the winters.

That's really yummy! I have fun making my own mustards but that really is a cool site.
