Lunch in East Village after Russian baths?

Any place to recommend in the EV for lunch after a morning at the Russian baths on 1st Avenue and Avenue A with my girlfriends? Someplace fun, not too pricey, and delicious!

Veselka or Ukranian home would be convenient and reasonable to complete your experience.

You should try Ippudo. Hot ramen after the russian baths will be soothing and delicious

I'd concur with Ippudo to the extent that it probably won't be as mad house crowded during lunch. So if you got a ramen craving, lunch is a good time to fulfill it.

Just keep in mind, with Ippudo as well as the other places mentioned above, lunch service may end around 3:30.

Even at lunch, there can be long lines of tourists, and students.

            Five Points isn't too far.
            Is Pylos open for lunch?

Pylos does serve brunch (which includes a big portion of the regular lunch/dinner menu) and rarely has a wait, unlike Five Points, which is sure to be slammed.

If you are going to the Russian bath on 10th street, I wonder if you will have much appetite after all the heat and "man smell".

You won't be terribly far from Prune or Momofuku Noodle.

Lunch or brunch? Is this for a weekday or weekend?

How much are you willing to pay per person, before tax, tip, drinks? $15pp? $25pp?

Any preferred cuisines? Are you willing to wait for a table?
