Slider Buns

Apropos Judy Walker's piece in today's paper, does anyone know of a decent source for these. Mackenzies' rolls were perfect, but as you know. I realize there are any number of substitutes available, Dong Phuong, being perhaps the best, but I am looking for a dedicated slider bun, brioche, potato, or commercial air bun bread. And the smaller the better. Thanks.

  1. Give La Boulangerie a call. Their pistolettes may be a bit large, but I seem to recall brioche as well.

      That;'s a good's times like these that I miss that seedless mini-muff bread that Gendusa's used to make. I want those back....

    2. i usually get my buns at the grocery store. the commercial dinner rolls are nice and squishy. sometimes i think good rolls are too hard for sliders.
