Charleston: Siena

In 2007, my husband and I had great eating experiences on a visit to Charleston. One of our best meals was an Italian meal at a restaurant named Siena, a restaurant located about a 20-minute drive outside of Charleston. Does this restaurant still exist? Is the food still amazingly authentic? What is the address of the restaurant?

Sienna has closed but the chef is Ken Vendrinski and he opened a place downtown called Trattoria Lucca.I have not eaten there but I do know that there is some real talent in that kitchen.I used to love Sienna and pretty sure Lucca won't disappoint.Good luck!

Lucca is amazing...one of my favorites! There is a bar around the corner, also owned by Lucca, called Enoteca. That's where they send guests to wait on tables...it's a lovely place for a drink.
