NEW DINER IN SPRINGFIELD DELCO

Wondering if anyone has tried the new diner in springfield delaware co? II think it used to be the old Bennigans. Delco being the culinary wasteland i'm not expecting much...but just curious.

Looks busy and I haven't had time to try it yet but if you do let us know if you see anything unique. Seems to be popular so far by view. Has to be better then the one down the street that has opened and closed several time. At least they have lots of parking...

I have been there 2 times so far (both against my will), and the service is HORRIBLE!!! Both times we came for dessert only, and it took them each time approximately 20 mins to make bananna splits and 2 cups of coffee (mind you, this was during off hrs -- 9-10pm in the middle of the week). The interior is very nice, and very neat and clean. But the service was slow as mollasses. We had the same server twice, and he seems very arrogant and condescending to us since we only ordered desserts. Not sure if its kinks being worked out or not, since the person I went with insisted on going since they are the same owners of the Collegeville Diner, and he loves that place.
