Does anyone know of any special new year (Feb 3) dining around Concord or Manchester, NH?

I would check with Chen Yang Li, they did something special last year.

Sunshine Oriental is doing some sort of special lobster concoction. You've got to call or stop in and order the dish today, though. Tina couldn't give me a price because they hadn't purchased the lobsters yet. I'm locked in for 8:30.

Please report back. I asked on Monday if I could get the lobster special as take-out but her husband really frowned on that. We are on grandchild duty and logistics don't make eating there possible. I understand that a stir-fry might not be as good after spending 30 minutes or more in a take-out bag.

I forgot to bring my camera, so no pics. The lobster was, unsurprisingly, very good. They smartly left if fairly unadulterated, tossing it around in the wok with lots of ginger, garlic, scallions, and a very light sauce. We also had dumplings, chow foon, green beans and plenty of beer. Tina was, as always, attentive, friendly and concerned about our enjoyment of every dish. Good Stuff.

thanks for the report, well, there are still plenty of things on the menu I haven't tried yet. Sorry to have missed the lobster, though.
