Julian Pie Company has a very good one, you could probably special order it at IOWA MEAT FARMS, they sell their pies.

I, too, am a big fan of Elizabethan Desserts so I don't want to discourage you from getting your cherry pie there, but I haven't tried that one yet so I can only recommend the cherry pie from Village Mill bakery in Del Mar Highlands shopping center, next to Jimbo's. It's really delicious. We have friends from LA who HAVE to have it every time they visit us.

Your question's practically purpose-built for one answer - Elizabethan Desserts in Encinitas.
She has a Cherry Lattice Mini-Pie which she bakes all the time, though a full-sized pie might require a special order. (Not sure of the latter, as I prefer the mini-pies myself.)

re: cgfan
+1 for Elizabethan and those individual lattice pies.
They do make full size 9'. Haven't had that size yet, but I too am ordering one for Valentine's. $28, order 24-48 hrs in advance. They're open Valentine's day and because it lands on a Mon this year they will open the Sun before too. This time of year they do the lattice top in cherry, strawberry and will make their mixed berry (called Blackbird I think) in a lattice top if you ask.

Ditto also... we now live in LA and my husband knows that Elizabethan Desserts is the one must-stop place for us every time we drive down to San Diego. Their baby Cherry Pies were what won me over, but I love their cupcakes now too... and pretty much everything else that they make, although I feel like the size of their chocolate toffee cupcakes recently shrank.
