Looking for good lunch places by Pico and Western...or within 5 miles of that area,,,but not downtown
we are trying to find places with easy parking and healthy food to meet for lunch in that area.
We love Papa Christos (lots of tables, easy parking, quick in and out) and tolerate El Cholo...but hoping there are gems around and about where a fellow co-worker and I can meet up to "talk work" and eat during the workday.
Please help.

El Parian, 1528 Pico, just west of the 110, has some of the best carne asada in town, great goat and some other things. Kind of funky but comfortable, friendly and cheap.
Dino's Burgers #2, 2575 W. Pico, just west of Vermont, is a fast food place but with tables and incredible plates of grilled chicken and fries - one of the best grilled chickens in town.
El Colmao, 2328 W. Pico, just east of Vermont, is one of the older and better Cuban places in town. Their white bean soup is fantastic, everything else is at least good, and it's more of a sit down with waiters but not expensive place than the other two.

5 miles? you realize 5 miles is a lot right? you basically opened it up to bevery hills, hollywood, century city area, etc.
getting to beverly hills, hollywood..and then eating and driving back might take you well over one hour (assuming you have 1 hour to eat during lunch).
since the area is so wide, there will be tons and tons of recs. ....so any specifics you require? costs, type of food, etc?›1 Reply -
