Best Thai in the West Valley

Living in Woodland Hills my choices for Thai are few. Thai BBQ is good, but I am seriously ISO something GREAT. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to drive, but not over the hill, I already all the great spots over there!

  1. We have always been impressed with the Northern Thai specialties (in the back of the menu) at Top Thai on Reseda Blvd. in Reseda.

    1. Lum Ka Naad Thai on Reseda in Northridge has impressed me via my wife bringing home takeout. The menu is broad and the dishes that I've tried have hit the mark for me.

Ditto, my go to place in the valley.

      2. For great Thai BBQ, Thai 'n' I in Encino has excellent bbq chicken and ribs. Get the combo with pad thai and mee krob. It had a broader menu, but it really is a place for those two dishes. Most of the curries and other entrees are so-so, though I do like the bite-size spring rolls and satay appetizers.

Beyond that, the best Thai in the valley is well east of you, in North Hollywood.

          1. We often order from Rincome, it's in Granada Hills - southwest corner of Devonshire and Balboa.
