Napoleon House isn't terribly far (closer than the preferred Central Grocery) but not by much. just cab it to Central. buy 2 and have them pack one for your checked luggage.

Cochon Butcher is near the convention center. Their muffaletta is awesome. They have house made meats, bar food, and desserts too!

Yes, very close to the Convention Center, which is surprisingly far from everything. Excellent Muffaletta. Check the small plates menu also.

Well, the Cochon Butcher, which is around the corner from and not to be confused with the Cochon Restaurant. Butcher is smaller and more casual with a takeout counter (or tables for eating in). Also mini king cakes!

Let us know what you think after you go.
If for some reason you're not in the mood for a muffaletta- they have a really good cuban. It's made with cochon de lait instead of sliced pork. So good!
