        <content>I have a friend that is in stage four Cancer and she has been advised to follow the Macrobiotic Diet. Does anyone have any recommendations for restaurants in and around the Los Angeles Area that specialize in Macrobiotic foods?</content>

Also, Native Foods in Westwood, Costa Mesa and Palm Springs has a Macrobiotic bowl that is both hearty and delicious.</content>

      <content>I think M is the only one that calls itself macrobiotic, and the others are vegitarian or vegan.
 
The food is better than Real Food Daily that's for sure.</content>

      <content>Don't know if it's strictly macrobiotic, but Ammo (1155 N. Highland Ave., (323) 871-2666) does a mean chicken or tofu with vegies on brown rice.  I even like it, and I'm not generally a big fan of macrobiotic fare.</content>

      <content>Real Food Daily (in West Hollywood and Santa Monica) has a few macrobiotic dishes.
 
A very long time ago I went with a friend to Inaka on La Brea, which served macrobiotic food.  I drove by it the other day and it looked like it was still open.</content>

      <content>A Votre Sante in Brentwood uses many Macrobiotic principles. The food is good and reasonably priced (well, reasonably priced for Brentwood). When Mrs. Mousse's grandmother had cancer, she ate there often.
