Smoked Brisket at Wagshal's in DC - Report
Can you be too rich? Too successful? Too funny or too handsome?
How about food: can it be too delicious?
The smoked brisket at Wagshal's is almost too luxuriously delicious for a sandwich. Like stuffing caviar, foie gras, and drawn butter in your mouth. Too fatty, too much flavor.
Better to order just the meat (they sell it by the half pound), have them heat it up, and eat it slice by slice. One of the best deli meats you will ever eat in your life.
