Chicken and Waffles?

I'm a native Seattle-ite yet despite my yelping and googling, I haven't managed to find any chicken and waffles restaurants (a la Roscoe's) in Seattle. Any recommendations for casual restaurants* serving chicken and waffles?

*Ventana has a great chicken and waffles dish on their menu. That said, I'm looking for a not so Belltown kind of spot.

Grinders on the Ave is supposed to have very good chicken and cornbread waffles as told by me from a friend. I hear it is off the menu.

You could try Captain Blacks in the Capitol Hill area.

Captain Black's is definitely a bar (21+ only, irritatingly loaded with capitol hill hipsters) but they have a great deck and the chicken and waffles are better than any I've had in the area.

Kingfish's version is too fancy, IMO.

Neither are like Roscoe's as an experience, though.

The Kingfish Cafe has chicken and waffles on their brunch menu. Another exceptional brunch dish are the biscuits and gravy at Emmer & Rye. These are on a whole new level and should be given some type of culinary award for making a humble dish into a religious experience.
