Huarache Antojitos Mexicana - Stafford

This was one of my favorite taquerias especially for the lamb barbacoa on weekends but it's changed hands apparently. It used to be called Huarache Azteca Express, modeled after the one in Mexico City that created the huarache in the 1930s. I don't know what this means for the menu, recipes and hours but it was closed last Sunday and has always been open on Sunday before.

I posted too late and too soon on the name change - drove by there today and there's a big for rent sign in the window now. Bah!! It was very good food and very nice people (and the complimentary taco when you walked in didn't hurt, except maybe the bottom line).
