Hi,

Looking for dinner reccomendations in Beaver Creek, CO. It doesn't have to be fancy but the food should be exceptional. Please help. Thanks

Actually IN Beaver Creek and really about the food, as you requested:

High end fine dining -- Splendido at the Chateau and Grouse Mountain Grill at Pines Lodge.

Moderately priced but good food -- Golden Eagle Inn.

    Sushi -- Foxnut.

Casual with decent burgers, etc. -- Dusty Boot.

Avoid Beano's Cabin -- it's about the "experience" rather than the food, IMO.

If you are staying at the Beav, you can take "dial-a-ride" free van service to the Westin in Avon or Mirabelle. At the Westin you have Avondale, a Larkspur spin-off.

I've seen some reference to taking the ECO (Eagle County Bus) to either Vail or Edwards. Not a good idea unless you like to stand out in the cold late at night for a half an hour. There is a party bus operation called Green Turtle that does Beav to Vail run, ask the concierge for info. The only thing I know is they have a poll for dancing on the bus.

DD gave you the scoop on the Beav.

Thanks so much for your recommendations. The meal we had at Splendido was superb on all levels!! The service, the food and decor were outstanding. Thanks again.
