Bryson CIty NC

We are heading to Bryson City for a weekend visit. Any eateries worth hitting? Our lodging has a full kitchen but if there is something we shouldn't miss, I would rather not!

Thanks!

We had a great time and although it's not a meal place, I have to put a shout out for Cork and Bean -

They make tons of great apps fresh. They were mixing up a batch of hummus when I was there. They have wine and coffee and tea, plus dairy free and gluten free baked goods. I was stunned. It is really a terrific oasis in the town!

There used to be a place in Tampa legendary for their burgers and all around great experience. They closed and eventually reopened (same name and menu) in Bryson City. No one on CH has ever reported on the new location AFAIK....

If you get a chance, I'd love to hear a report and perhaps see a photo of the menu!

Not much there, I'm afraid. Nothing worth seeking out, at least.
