R.TL, Chambar or Boneta

What do you suggest for a family dinner (around 6-8 ppl)? Thinking about Boneta, Chambar or R.TL. I've been to Chambar before (and liked it) but haven't been to the other two. Also open to other suggestions.

I think it will depend on what kind of food and atmosphere you're looking for.

I've been to Boneta (but not Chambar) and have been impressed with the wine list and food at Boneta. They're changing their menu regularly, so there's always something new. It's not a huge restaurant, so you may want to call ahead to see if you can reserve a larger table for your family dinner.

Another suggestion may be Cin Cin on Robson? That's a larger restaurant and they serve very pillowy soft gnocchi there.

I have been to Chambar and Boneta and have tried to go to RTL with out success (packed the nights I wanted) and Chambar prolly has the most crowd pleasing menu, plus extensive wine list and extensive beer list and one of the best bartender's in the city.
When are you thinking of going? Keep in mind it's Dine-Out until Feb 6th and I know that Chambar and R.TL are involved

Dine Out wouldn't affect Chambar really since the restaurant is usually full anyways. I haven't been to Boneta in a long time but they're moving locations soon so this will be the last chance for many people to dine and drink at the original location.

I"m pretty sure it doesn't normally do 400 covers on a Monday night re: Chambar......but yes they are often busy...

The food can be very good at both, but Boneta seems to be more of a "fun" place. Chambar is a bit stuffier.

OP didn't mention what night of the week they're eating. I've also seen them that busy mid week. Game/concert nights are the worst since parking becomes more expensive as well.

errr.. i beg to differ. i was there last year for DOV. service from the hostess till the end was poor. have been to since they opened their doors about 7 years ago.
DOV guest are not their norm guest. fwiw, and you cant have your A team working 6-7 nights a week. I never oder the DOV menu either.
