Looking for a place that sells black truffles (mushroom) in or around Fort Worth.

I saw some fresh black truffles last week at the Central Market on Coit near the Plano/Richardson border. They were in the produce section, and they weren't cheap. You might want to call ahead. If you don't need them this instant, you could try online somewhere.

Sorry! East Dallas, and the official name is Spiceman's FM 1410 on Fitzhugh at Bryan street. He is a popular urban micro-farmer but also brings in things from around the state and beyond when in season. The bulk of his business is wholesale to local restaurants, but he does a fair amount of retail trade and specializes in micro greens, herbs and mushrooms.

Central Market in Fort Worth had them a couple of weeks ago. Although the price per pound is high, they weigh very little and you only need one for most recipes.
