Steelers Bar in Rome??

jmk38 Jan 26, 2011 02:31 PM

I am an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and will be in Rome the day and night of the Super Bowl.
I am told there is a Steelers bar in Rome - does anyone know anything about this, including
name, location, etc?
Thank you!

Every Irish Pub in Rome will carry the game. Abbey Theater near Piazza Navona, Scholars Lounge near the Piazza Venezia are just two of many. Neither have very good food but the beer is fresh and the vibe is good.I confess to wasting many hours watching games at both places.

but if you are a Pittsburgh fan you should definitely go to what is the Steelers fans hom ein Rome: the pub La Botticella, in via di tor Millina 32, next to Piazza Navona.

If La botticella is packed and you like to see the game surrounded by Italian football buffs (those of the Endzone Forum), you should head for Crazy Bull Cafe, in Via Riano 1, northern Rome.

If you'd like to see how Italian football players look like, go to Hard Rock Cafe in Via Veneto, where Lazio Marines players will gather to watch the Superbowl.

Hard Rock Cafe is never a good sports option.

According to a Rome resident, it's La Botticella, Via Tor Millina 32, near Piazza Navona.
