Burnt Inside of Le Creuset Fry Pan!

Im quite upset with myself after using my fry pan to heat up a tortilla, and then walking away without turning off the gas. I have no idea what I was thinking, but my husband came home two hours later, and to my horror, the inside of the pan was burned! I used bar keepers friend on the bottom of the skillet, and I was able to get the stains out of the bottom. I have no clue what to do now with the inside of the pan. My husband seems to think the best option is just to sell this one and buy a new one, but I dont want to go through all that trouble. I would rather be able to remove the stains! Anyone have suggestions???

I would soak it again in a mixture of BKF and water, and then scrub it out again.

Someone says to use oven cleaner, but I have no experience with that.

If Bar Keepers Friend worked on the outside of the pan, it should work just as well on the inside of the pan.

Is the brown stuff in the pan cooked-on oil? If it is, a paste of baking soda and water applied with a scrubby sponge will bring it right up.

I tried BKF, it did not really work. I resorted to oven cleaner.... and it did the trick. Thanks for the help!

Bar keepers friend would only work on a smoother surfaces. Inside enamel is too rough for it to do the trick..
