WLA venues w/private room

I'm on the advisory board of a discussion group that meets every few weeks. We need a private room in a restaurant that will seat up to 45 people and is reasonably upscale. Also quiet -- which was a problem at Cafe del Rey, where the private enclosed patio had deafening blowers. Two that have worked have been Napa Grille and Morton's, but we'd love some variety and a location farther west. Ideas?

Hal's in Venice has a nice upstairs room, separated from the busy restaurant and bar scene.. Can't get too much further west!

Not sure of the capacity, but Il Moro also has/had a room off to the right as you entered, before the bar and hostess stand.

That room doesn't seem like it holds more than 20 easily. I have lunch at Il Moro semi-frequently and that room just looks small. It may be worth a call to make sure.

Another caveat, they've changed menus in the past year and the food doesn't seem to be as good. Service is still nice, but portions and variety has also shrunk. We used to go a lot more for vendor lunches since it was convenient and food nice but still accessible. Haven't been happy the last few times and I've actually felt bad for the vendors who've had to pick up the bill.
