Brunello's and Serena

I've read about both of these places in Somerville and Malden respectively, and both are included in the 80% off sale on Restaurants.com. I've gotten some great deals throught this site and you really can't go wrong when a $25 certificate is yours for $2 but I'd still like to hear your thoughts.
Thanks!

BTW, the owner is a really nice man.

I like them both. I'd say that Serena is a bit more old-school while Brunello's leans more toward being sleek and trendy. Serena is probably the better choice if you're looking for pasta or Southern Italian, while Brunello is more Mediterranean/New American (with a hint of Brazilian).
