My husband had it when we went to Cotogna, and I tasted all of the dishes: A halibut carpaccio with citrus and flatbread; a wood-oven baked pasta with lamb; and the bonet, a creme caramel with amaretti crumbs. Each was quite flavorful. I don't usually like lamb, but I would not hesitate to order the pasta and lamb dish. The prix fixe is definitely a good value; each of the dishes was also featured on the a la carte menu, so it was easy to compare the pricing. The overall meal was a little light on vegetables, but ordering a side vegetable dish, which we shared, made it perfect. The roasted carrots were incredibly good.
