Romantic, but simple meal on Valentines day.
So my gf and I will be staying at a bed and breakfast in Wimberly the night of Feb 13th and I was hoping to make a day trip to Austin for Valentine's Day after we check out. So my question is basically, where is a simple, unpretentious place for lunch that won't break the bank and is open on Mondays? We both love food and are adventurous so any suggestions are welcome. If it can be romantic (however you define that) as well, all the better. Anyway, neither of us know anything whatsoever about Austin (though with her in Houston now I hope to get to Austin frequently), so any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

it could be too cold for a comfortable meal at a trailer.
plus only a small percentage of them have a somewhat romantic setting, so my recs are for restaurants.here are some places definitely serving lunch on mondays.
$100 for a two person lunch is totally doable at any of these places.
they are all south or downtown, and will not add to your drive time.
if i think of more, i'll post them.jack allen's kitchen

re: dinaofdoom
We really enjoy everything. Since we get good Tex-Mex and Mexican in Houston, maybe I'd steer away from that, but otherwise, we are both totally open to anything(including can't-miss trailers/trucks I might mention).
Pricing might help more than anything: I am looking to stay under $100 for both of us including tax/tip/drink. For dinner I know that can be quite difficult, but I'm hoping that it's doable for lunch.
We will actually be driving kind of far to begin with as the B&B we will be at is in Wimberly. So if there is somewhere between Wimberly and Austin, that would work, but once we are in Austin I would prefer to stay within the city.
I hope that helps narrow it down a bit. Also, remember it's a Monday. I don't know if that's a factor to consider, but I often find that it is.
