Taiwanese Gua Bao (steamed bun sandwiches)

I recently had my first Taiwanese Gua Bao (steamed bun sandwiches) & it was amazing! I want to re-create it, but can't find the pancake shaped buns anywhere. Does anybody have a tip on where to buy these? I really don't want to make them myself!

You can get those bao at Maxim in Rockville or at the other Chinese food market in the cold cases. You can also get a jar of the preserved vegetables that go in the sandwich. Occasionally I can get them at AllGreen in Glen Burnie.

Unfortunately, I have no tips on where to get the bao, but where did you have those sandwiches? Looks tasty!

These look similar to something I had at Ippudo -- a wonderful ramen place in NYC.
