La Mission Tacqueria, Berkeley

This place just opened in the old Cambodian donut place on University in Berkeley. It turns out to be another venture from the Talavera, Montara and Casa Latina group, and the menu is most similar to Talavera (mole poblano, for example). Prices are about the same as well, somewhat higher than other burrito joints in the neighborhood (eg, chips are extra). $6.25 bought a regular burrito with excellent carnitas, well seasoned and tender. Platos are $10.95, three "tacos de plaza" are $6.75, they have both grilled and fried pescados, and lamb is one of the meat options. Pozole is on the menu as well. A nice patio is still under construction.
