Hello! I'm making mussels for dinner for the first time later this week. Suggestions on where to buy them in SF? Also, do I need to buy them day of?
Thanks in advance!
Seafood Center on Clement Street has fresh seafood (mussels included) for a great price.

Costco. They are vacuumed sealed but still live (not sure how that works though) so can buy it a couple of days in advance.
I have used mussels from Bi-Rite a few times recently and they were delicious!
Most stuff from Bi-Rite is delicious, but the question is if you can get stuff that's almost as delicious for far less; I feel that this is true in this situation with Sun Fat.
Sun Fat.
Will definitely be better if bought day of. Their hours (9:30-6) can be a little tricky though....
Thanks, Vulber! Does anyone have recommendations for Chinatown fish markets?
