Where to watch the Super Bowl

Is there any place to watch the Super Bowl live? A friend will be in Paris on February 6 and would not like to miss the game.

There is a place on Quai des grand Augustines, I think it off the corner of Quai and Rue Sequier--it's an Irish/American bar that had the SuperBowl last year when I was staying in that area. I'll bet they are covering it this year as well!

I watched it on French TV a couple of years ago in Martinique, so it should definitely be on TV in Paris. I believe the poster above got it right, it's on TF1. If you're at a hotel they should definitely have it.

Also, check with Joe Allen/Paris, this is an American restaurant with a sports theme in Paris.

Be prepared to be up all night with the 6 hour time difference though...

The US embassy very clearly has no intent of being harrassed with unimportant issues like this.

Just try to phone them and see what happens...and you're not going to pop in for a visit, either - visits to the Embassy are by appointment only.
